2025 Year in Review

I was closing up my business books for the year and decided to practice a little marketing. I created a video of the some of the books that I edited in 2025 that were also published in 2025. This video (hosted on Canva) represents only about the first 8-9 months of the year. My other clients have 2026 release dates planned.

Aren’t the books beautiful? The stories inside them are great, too. And the variety is wide:

• The Last Spirit Bear paranormal (shapeshifters) sapphic romance by Taryn J Dallas
• Lilith: Book of Genesis and Lilith: Original Sin sapphic erotic adventure by TJ Dallas.

Seek them out wherever you buy books online (all are available in both ebook and print, if I recall correctly)

Totals

All told, I worked on

• 24 copy/line edits
• 6 developmental edits
• 5 manuscript evaluations
• 3 book formatting

I started and finished a total of 32 contracts this year. About a third were for multiple services on the same book or to edit multiple books in the same series.

Oh, just so you know, I didn’t just read client books this year. I updated my reading list on Goodreads yesterday with the last of 50 (!) books I read just for pleasure! It’s been a good year!
