Another wonderful bit of news from an editing client – and writing friend. Julie Ranson has accepted a contract with The Wild Rose Press to publish She Danced Anyway, an historical (1920s) women’s fiction novel.

In 1920s New York, Elizabeth, 22, has just graduated college — without an “m-r-s” degree, much to her mother’s dismay. Working as a researcher in a branch of the New York Public Library, she loves dancing, though “well-bred” ladies shouldn’t. Avoiding romantic entanglements and living life on her own terms, she dances anyway.
I’ve been a sounding board as a fellow writer, and as an editor, for this story for several years. It’s great to see it finally finding its way into the world. Follow Julie and keep up with the release details (looks like February 2024) for her debut novel She Danced Anyway at http://www.juliejranson.com.

Julie!
